Founded in
1991, BioWorld uses leading edge biotechnology and engineering to
create progressive and economical products for improving soils,
plants and crops, and solving environmental problems. The company
began by developing its flagship product MultiFIX Soil, Plant and
Crop Enhancer. MultiFIX provides the proper compounds and substrates
required by soil microbes and plants to grow the highest quality
crops with better taste and greater nutrient value.
BioWorld
expanded into waste and odor treatment products and equipment for
solving many environmental challenges including odor control, algae
control and wastewater treatment. BioWorld Waste and Odor Treatment
uses a combination of bioenhancement substrates and selected
microorganisms to break down most wastes into environmentally safe
compounds. Our technology has been successfully applied to
wastewater containing grease, fats, manure and other simple organic
matter, municipal and industrial wastewater containing sludge and
high BOD, TSS and also algae control in ponds on golf courses,
irrigation canals, farms and ranches.
In the mid
90's, BioWorld developed its
specialized bioremediation technology, a non-disruptive,
cost-effective, and highly efficient method of safely breaking down
many environmentally persistent contaminants. To date, our products
and technology have been used to clean up petroleum hydrocarbons
such as crude oil, gasoline, diesel, MTBE, and other petrochemicals
in soils and water, whether In-Situ or Ex-Situ. BioWorld
Hydrocarbon Treatment Products are listed on the EPA NCP Product
Schedule and the State of California OSPR Products Schedule for oil
cleanups.
The
development of BioWorld Odor Neutralizer (BON) occured in the late 90's
for the purpose of direct odor control. BON is a
true odor neutralizer primarily used in large industrial type
applications, offices, shopping centers, compost areas, sewer
systems and even homes. BON can also be added to paints, chemicals,
pesticides, wash down products or other materials to eliminate odor
problems. BON is easily applied using BioWorld sprayers, foggers or
custom designed atomizing systems.
In 2002,
BioWorld developed The Pet Beverage, an enzyme based formulation
which takes care of pet and large animal odor problems - from the
inside out. The Pet Beverage is all natural, very safe and is
easily added to the water or food dish. When used
consistently, pet odors are significally reduced or completely
eliminated. Customer feedback has been very positive and
rewarding with a high percentage of re-orders.
