Algae growth depends on many factors including daylight hours, temperature, location and nutrient loading. Every pond has its own unique identity.  Our goal is to find the targeted treatment rate that is both effective and affordable. We have nearly 100% success on filamentous, stringy algae as long as enough BioWorld products are consistently used and treatments are done correctly.  Our clients who are willing to invest the money to have a nice pond, lake or water feature are extremely pleased with the results of our safe and natural treatment products.

Once the ecosystem comes into balance, annual product costs are usually less in subsequent years. There are residual and cumulative effects in BioWorld treated water.

BioWorld Algae Treatment application rates are based on surface area or dimensions, algae type, and severity of the algae. Simply adjust the amount of BioWorld (higher or lower) as algae growth dictates. Repeat treatments weekly during the algae bloom season. When the algae is under control, both the amount and frequency of treatments can be decreased.

Note: There is an economy of scale with BioWorld. Larger water features will require less product by volume than smaller water features.
